What kind of organisations do you work for?+
Mostly central and local government: provincial authorities, municipalities, regional water authorities and not-for-profits. Consultancies and companies working with research or mobility data are just as welcome.
What makes Wendix different from an ordinary data or consultancy firm?+
We pair sharp data analysis (the proof) with an understanding of people and organisations (the movement), so research does not stop at a report but ends in policy that is both well evidenced and supported. We are small and quick on our feet, so the answer can always be built to fit. No overhead, and you sit at the table with the specialists themselves.
Do you work with our own data and systems?+
Yes. We combine your own sources (Excel, AFAS or SharePoint, for example) with open data from the Dutch vehicle authority RDW, Statistics Netherlands and TNO. Our solutions are built to fit and match the way you work.
Do you use AI? Is quality still guaranteed?+
We use AI to build applications and dashboards faster, not to draw conclusions. AI speeds up development; our research discipline and our checks protect the quality and reliability of the results. Proof and movement, with the rigour of scientific research and the pace of a software company.
How do you handle privacy and data protection?+
We work in line with the GDPR and use anonymous data wherever we can, so that results cannot be traced back to individuals. See our privacy statement for the details.
What is DAM?+
DAM (Data Assistant Mobility) is our interactive dashboard. It brings many sources together and makes complex mobility data easy to read, so that you can answer your own research questions.
