Privacy Statement
In this privacy statement you can read all about the way your personal data is collected and how your personal data is handled.
The privacy statement will sometimes be changed due to, for example, legislative changes. It is therefore advisable to consult the statement periodically.
Why is your data collected?
There are situations in which your data is collected by WENDIX. This happens for a number of purposes:
Getting in touch
Your data will be collected if you contact WENDIX through the contact form on the website. That form asks only for the data needed to reply to your message, such as your name and email address.
Improving the website
WENDIX counts how many people visit the website and which subjects get read, in order to improve the site. This is done with Simple Analytics, a Dutch service that places no cookie, stores nothing on your device and keeps no personal data. What we get back are counts per page and per subject, not who you are: to us you are a visit and not a person, and we cannot recognise you on a later visit or on another website.
Research
WENDIX regularly carries out research in which various research data is processed. Which data that is depends on the study. We work with anonymous data wherever possible. The results of the research can then not be traced back to individual participants. In some cases, however, the research makes it necessary for us to ask for data such as your name, address or other personal data.
The research data is used only for research purposes. All data is processed only with your express consent, or in performance of the agreements entered into, or because processing is necessary in order to put you in contact with potential contacts and/or contractors.
How long is your data stored?
Your data is kept by WENDIX for a longer period, but never longer than is necessary for carrying out its activities, unless a statutory rule requires us to keep your data longer.
Getting in touch
When you contact WENDIX through the contact form, the data you send us, such as your name and email address, is stored in the database. That data is kept for up to five years back, so that we can see, for example, when we were last in touch, what it was about and how you responded at the time. It is in our legitimate interest to know this, so that we can help you better.
Visitor numbers
The visitor numbers WENDIX collects are counts, not connected to your name, your company or your email address. No personal data is kept. We hold on to the figures themselves for as long as we use them to improve the site.
Research
Research data is not kept for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the study.
How is your data secured?
WENDIX takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
If you feel that your data is not properly secured, or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@wendix.nl
Would you like to see, change or have your personal data removed from our database? You can email info@wendix.nl for that too. Your data will then be emailed to you, or changed, or deleted.
What about cookies?
The website uses one cookie, and it is purely functional: it remembers which part of the site you looked at last. There are no tracking or advertising cookies on this site, and counting visits happens without a cookie. See the cookie policy.
