Our expertise
We find what is hiding in the data. We study people and organisations, and we get them moving.
Data analysis and visualisation
Organisations and public bodies hold a great deal of data. The right figures matter when a decision has to be made and when policy has to work.
To spot a trend or make a forecast, you need reporting you can take in at a glance. Wendix turns your data into something clear enough to put behind a decision, a policy, a report or a presentation.
Bring large amounts of information together, analyse it and present it well, and you can see what is going on and what to do about it.
That matters for government and not-for-profits in particular, because data gives an even-handed view at every level, from the national picture down to the individual user.

Product design
A good product does not start with the technology, but with the question behind it. What should someone be able to do, and what is stopping them now?
Wendix designs in a design cycle: explore, set the requirements, generate ideas, choose, build, test. And then again. Every round produces something tangible you can respond to: a sketch, a clickable prototype, a working version with your own data.
That keeps the design close to the real work. Short rounds that test an assumption early, rather than one big plan that only gets tried out at the end.
It works for a dashboard, a questionnaire, a web application or a work process: anything where the form decides whether people actually use it.
Explore
Who is going to use it, what for, and what is going wrong now? We talk to the users and watch the real work.
Set the requirements
A specification: what must the product be able to do, and what does it have to meet in terms of privacy, accessibility and maintenance?
Generate ideas
Several directions side by side, the awkward ones included. Starting broad stops the first idea from being the only one.
Choose
Weighed against the requirements, together with you. One concept goes forward, and we record why the others fell away, so the reasoning stays traceable.
Build
A working prototype, not a picture. With your own data in it, so what you see is what you would really get.
Test and adjust
Put users in front of it and see what happens. Whatever does not work goes back into the cycle.
The design cycle itself is nothing new; what is new is how far it now takes us. A prototype that used to take weeks is ready in days. Building with AI puts that step within reach, which means proper design, with real users and real data, now fits inside almost any project.
Organisational development
For when you want to change something. Streamlining processes, working together more efficiently, cutting out waste: Wendix helps you improve the way the organisation runs, step by step.
Together we analyse and improve processes and build a culture where improvement is continuous, led by the expertise of your own people and by what the organisation is there to do. Through periods of upheaval too, because an organisation never stands still.
Our questionnaires and interviews show how people experience their work and what the culture is really like.
That might be a satisfaction survey, an employee experience survey or exit research.
It measures more than satisfaction. It brings out the things underneath that shape the working environment as a whole, so you know exactly where to put the effort.
Friction between colleagues shapes how individuals, and whole teams, experience their work.
Wendix will look with you at what is possible and what you want, on the way to better working relationships.

Behavioural and policy research
For any change to succeed, behaviour has to change with it.
No energy transition, no safer roads and no change of culture without a change in behaviour.
Use qualitative and quantitative research at the right moment and you find out what is really going on, and what you can do about it.
Wendix offers a wide range of research methods.
Questionnaires, interviews, diary studies, observation, evaluation research: we run all of them.
For when you want the evidence first. The same methods work just as well turned inward. They show how your people experience their work, how a team is developing, or what sits at the root of a conflict. That is the factual basis for everything that follows, and it comes with practical places to start.
We will work out the right approach with you, whether the goal is a change of policy or a change of behaviour.
Exploring and clarifying the question
We start with the situation as it is now. With questionnaires, observation, traffic counts and interviews.
Generating solutions
From what the research shows we work up solutions, broad and specific, with management and everyone else involved.
Improving and implementing
A plan is only worth the name once the groundwork is done. A pilot turns it into an implementation plan.
Evaluating
Once the solutions are in place, keep monitoring them. Impact measurement and evaluation research tell you whether the goals were met.
