Data Assistant Mobility (DAM)
All the national mobility data on one map, live feeds included. Nothing to download, clean up or keep up to date.
What is DAM?
Data Assistant Mobility (DAM) is a web platform that brings mobility data together on one map: the road network and its characteristics, traffic signs, accidents, public transport, rail, waterways, charging infrastructure and the area and key figures from Statistics Netherlands. We fetch those sources, check them and keep them current. You work with the data instead of on it.
Want an open or in-house source added? We can usually do that as an extra, at no cost.
On top of that sits an analysis environment: statistics and charts by municipality, district or neighbourhood, projects to keep your work in, and reports you can export to Word, PowerPoint or PDF. Statistics export to CSV. Access is set by area, so you see your own municipality or province.
Who is DAM for?
- Municipalities
- Provincial authorities
- Mobility professionals
- Researchers

Use cases
Where DAM makes the difference in practice
Mobility policy
Support policy choices with national sources anyone can check, right down to district and neighbourhood level.
The map shows patterns that separate tables never reveal.
Accountability and reporting
Put maps, charts and figures on a canvas and deliver it as a report for the executive, the council or the board.
From map view to a shareable document in Word, PowerPoint or PDF. No cutting and pasting.
Traffic planning
Put road characteristics, speed limits, counting points, traffic signs and accidents side by side on one map and zoom in on the spot that matters.
Saves hours of searching, downloading and cleaning up every week. The data is already there.
Live traffic picture
Watch congestion, incidents, closures, journey times and public transport moving through your area, in a window you keep open beside your work.
See what is happening right now, without switching between separate portals.

Getting to know DAM
Try DAM for a week first, with your own municipality or province loaded. And if you need something that does not exist yet, we will work out together what it would take.
Try it for a week first
One week, one user, your own municipality or province, with every feature included. For government organisations only.
Request a trial weekBuilt to fit, if that is what you need
DAM does not come in one fixed shape. A module that does not exist yet, your own sources alongside the national ones, a link to a system you already use, or DAM opened up across the organisation: all of it is possible. Tell us what you have in mind and we will work out what it would take.
