Working applications, alongside research and programmes that show you what your data, your people and your organisation are doing, and help you improve it.
DAM
An interactive dashboard that makes complex mobility data easy to read. DAM pulls together sources such as the vehicle authority RDW, Statistics Netherlands, TNO and ElaadNL so that you can answer your own questions, from the energy use of a fleet to where the vehicles actually are.
Built for central and local government that want evidence-based policy without months of manual analysis first.
Explore DAMFleet impact
The CO₂ tool: your vehicle fleet by postcode. From composition to emissions and the impact of going electric.
Fleet impact (also known as the CO₂ tool) shows municipalities and provincial authorities how their vehicle fleet is made up, per numeric postcode, based on data from the Dutch vehicle authority RDW.
Combined with what is already known about how those vehicles are used, the dashboard estimates mileage, emissions and energy and fuel use. It also works out what electrifying the fleet would do to local electricity demand.
Who it is for
- Municipalities
- Provincial authorities
- Policy advisers in mobility and energy
Data sources: RDW (vehicle registration) · Existing knowledge on mileage, emissions and energy use
What the dashboard shows
Composition by postcode
See per numeric postcode which vehicles, fuels and ages make up the fleet (RDW).
Emissions and consumption
Estimates of mileage, CO₂ emissions and energy and fuel use.
Electrification scenario
The effect of electrifying the fleet on local electricity demand.
Ready for policy
Usable straight away as evidence for mobility and energy policy.
Freight flows
Origin and destination of freight transport by rail, inland shipping and road, plus the location of vans and lorries.
Freight flows maps the origins and destinations of freight transport at NUTS 2 or 3 level, for three modes: rail, inland shipping and road. The basis is published data from Statistics Netherlands.
The dashboard combines this with the location of category N vehicles (vans and lorries). That lets you link registration locations to industrial estates and spot businesses with large fleets.
Who it is for
- Municipalities and provincial authorities
- Economic affairs and industrial estates
- Logistics and mobility advisers
Data sources: Statistics Netherlands (published freight transport data) · RDW (category N vehicles)
What the dashboard shows
Three modes
Rail, inland shipping and road transport in one view.
Origin and destination
Freight flows at NUTS 2 or 3 level, based on Statistics Netherlands.
Category N vehicles
Locations of vans and lorries, linkable to industrial estates.
Identify businesses
Spot businesses with large fleets from their registration locations.
Passenger mobility
The Statistics Netherlands figures on how people travel, visualised and free to explore.
Passenger mobility visualises the Statistics Netherlands data on how people in the Netherlands travel: by which modes, how often and for what purpose.
This dashboard is based on public data and is free to view. No account and no request needed.
Who it is for
- Anyone interested in mobility
- Municipalities and provincial authorities
- Researchers and students
Data sources: Statistics Netherlands (Passenger mobility, public)
What the dashboard shows
Public and free
Freely accessible and ready to view, without a request or an account.
Source data from Statistics Netherlands
Based on the public Statistics Netherlands figures on how people travel.
Explore it interactively
Filter and explore trips by mode, purpose and more.
Alongside our products, Wendix runs research and improvement programmes covering people, behaviour and the way an organisation works.
Grant applications
We write the bid that gets your mobility project funded, from sharpening the idea to the complete submission. National and European.
A bid is judged not on what you intend to do, but on what ends up on the page. Assessors look at whether the plan matches the aims of the scheme, whether the case stacks up, whether the budget is realistic and whether the result can be measured. A good project written up badly loses out to a weaker project that speaks the language of the scheme.
We start by finding the scheme that fits your plan, rather than reshaping the plan until it fits somewhere. That may be a national scheme (RVO, a central government grant, or a provincial or regional mobility fund) or a European programme such as Interreg, Horizon Europe or CEF Transport. From there we sharpen the proposal, build the evidence, the budget and the timeline, and where it helps we support the forming of the consortium and the agreements between partners.
Our advantage is that we are researchers ourselves. The part where bids usually come unstuck, the evidence base, a credible baseline measurement and a monitoring plan that can actually be carried out, is our day job. And if the funding comes through, we can run the monitoring and evaluation you promised.
We agree the cost with you up front: a fixed fee for writing the bid, or no cure no pay, with an agreed percentage of the grant awarded. Which of the two suits depends on the scheme and the size of the bid. We will also tell you if we think the odds are poor.
Questionnaire research
Qualitative and quantitative evidence from (online) questionnaires: from satisfaction and employee experience surveys through to impact measurement, clearly visualised and reported.
Interview research
A close reading of experience, motives and how things stand, through structured interviews with the right people.
Observation research
Behaviour as it actually happens: from watching the work in the workplace to traffic counts in the field.
From idea to working application
We build to fit. Together we take an idea from a rough wish to a working product: a Power BI dashboard, or a full application with your own data entry, analysis and reporting behind it. With AI, we build in days what would have taken months a few years ago. Research turns straight into tools people use.
Results sooner
From raw data to a working prototype in days, not months.
Built on evidence
AI speeds up the build; our research discipline protects the quality.
Built to fit
Applications that match your own data and the way you work.
Alongside you
You steer while we build, so the result actually fits.
